Worked on the plurk pop up menu and updater last night FEEL FREE TO ALTER IT or clean it since I really just messed with it from previous custom layout ha ha. Values in here are just the ones that are on my layout so change them to fit. (Including pastebins as extra reference source.)

Plurk Pop Up Menu
Basically anything that's #filter_tab involves the pop up menu. There are probably more items and classes, and probably could mess with just #filter_tab { } to adjust overall elements (but haven't tried). Includes rounded borders and opacity if you want it.

/* MENU UNSELECTED ITEMS (I have mine set as transparent. If you want color, change "background" to "background-color: #HEXCODE;") */
#filter_tab a.off_tab {
background: transparent;
border: none!important;
color:#3b320d;
}

/* MENU SELECTED ITEM */
#filter_tab a.filter_selected {
outline: 0 !important;
background: #ffffff;
color: #000000;
-khtml-border-radius: 10px;
-moz-border-radius: 10px;
-webkit-border-radius: 10px;
border-radius: 10px;
border:1px white solid;
filter: alpha(opacity=70) !important;
-moz-opacity: 0.7 !important;
opacity: 0.7 !important;
}

/* MENU ITEMS ON HOVER */
#filter_tab a.off_tab:hover {
background: #96846a!important;
color:#ffffff;
text-decoration:none;
-khtml-border-radius: 10px;
-moz-border-radius: 10px;
-webkit-border-radius: 10px;
border-radius: 10px;
border-right:1px white solid;
border-bottom:1px white solid;
filter: alpha(opacity=70) !important;
-moz-opacity: 0.7 !important;
opacity: 0.7 !important;
}

Updater
The "# New Plurks" and "# New Responses blocks next to the menu. Uh, I didn't quite fully grasp this but I figured out a) what part to at least poke and b) change colors, including on hover. It's kind of weird though so someone else is free to work on this more. Basically the #updater is the id you're looking for to poke. Again, probably have more parts to it and I kind of blindly shot at guessing the hover class based off other parts of the code ha ha ha...

/* UPDATER */
#updater {
border: none;
background: #f7f0e7;
filter: alpha(opacity=70) !important;
-moz-opacity: 0.7 !important;
opacity: 0.7 !important;
}

#updater .text {color: #241411;}
#updater a {color: #96846a;}

/* UPDATER UPON HOVER (HOPEFULLY AND WITH OPACITY IF YOU WANT IT) */
#updater a:hover {background: #96846a!important;
color: #ffffff;
filter: alpha(opacity=70) !important;
-moz-opacity: 0.7 !important;
opacity: 0.7 !important;}

LOW PRIORITY STUFF I know but hopefully it helps those who are curious and anyone seriously looking at the CSS! (Also someone can come in here and clean this up/add things I am totally cool)
